In cooperation with Egypt Gas Company, the Sadat City Development Authority has started installing pipelines in order to pump gas to Ebni Beitak midrange residential project, reported Al Borsa.

The Head of Sadat City Development Authority, Mohamed Ashour, stated that natural gas will be pumped to plot no.25 and plot no.23 in social and national housing development area. The two plots are located next to Ebni Beitak and Dar Al Salam projects. Ashour added that Sadat City Development Authority has completed work to deliver gas to the block no.3, bring the total to 10 residential blocks within the city with natural gas connections.

In related news, the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company’s (EGAS) Deputy Manager of Planning and Projects, Gamal Hegazy, had informed the Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, that Dairut City in Assiut had witnessed the first natural gas flame upon pumping for the first time in the city. The Egyptian government had established the infrastructure to pump gas to Dairut as a part of its strategy to deliver gas to 21 cities in Upper Egypt to decrease the dependency on butane.
