Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, and Jordan’s Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Ibrahim Saif, met in Cairo to discuss the mechanism of implementing energy and natural gas cooperation protocols between the two Arab nations, according to Egypt’s State Information Service.

The two sides also talked about the newest developments of the mega projects that are currently being carried out by the Egyptian companies in various fields and focused on the energy field, that can potentially boost the mineral wealth of both countries and expand their bilateral cooperation.

The Jordanian Minister praised the outcomes of the meeting and got acquainted with the latest major natural gas discoveries in Egypt and the strategies taken by the government to utilize them.
